Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Objectives:
» To provide knowledge of pharmaceutical chemistry about physicochemical properties of chemical entities, their reactions and mechanisms useful in the area of drug discovery and analysis.
» To incorporate competency in the area of drug discovery by providing hands-on training about operating of various updated software viz . Schrödinger, V-life.
» To nurture the students in the field of pharmaceutical analysis by proving expertise pertaining to sophisticated instruments viz. HPLC, HPTLC, UV-Spectrophotometer.
Pharmaceutics
The department of pharmaceutics is one of the key departments of the Institute. It is equipped with state of the art facilities to undertake research in drug development and delivery. The Department of Pharmaceutics is a place where team work and commitment to excellence in academia, research and development is demonstrated through productivity and success of our faculty and students. We continue to stride out with times and our program focuses on expanding the scientific avenues for improving the delivery of drugs and therapeutic agents. We provide a training environment that includes Pilot plant laboratory developed as cGMP considerations,saphosticated instrumentation and technologies supervised by experienced teachers and dedicated staffs.
Pharmacology
Objective
To provide state-of-the-art research facilities and a friendly learning ambience to the budding health professionals.
The department has many facilities, advance equipment and state of the art laboratory.
Pharmacognosy
The major objective of the Department of Pharmacognosy is to transmit a naive mode and approach for optimum utilization of plants and herbs as curing diseases and ailments alongside developing novel tactics and techniques to preserve natural flora as well as the key information related to it , which is on the way of extinction. The department also keep the objective of uplifting the medicinal system and social status of farmers and allied workers.

Ratnadeep College of Pharmacy Ratnapur was established in 2018 with the primary objective of providing value based health and technical education to aspiring candidates and mould out of them citizens who will make India proud in the 21st century.
